Cornerstone Construction, LLC provides custom home building, home additions, kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling for homeowners in Fairhope, AL. Our approach is rooted in faith, integrity and craftsmanship, with attention to your goals and the details of the existing property.
How do you plan an addition to an existing Fairhope home?
Start with how the new room will be used and how it will connect to the current floor plan. Review the lot, drainage, foundation, roof tie-in and utility needs before settling the design. A survey or earlier drawings can help identify questions for the site visit. Our home-addition planning guide explains the decisions that shape the scope, budget and sequence.
What should you compare in remodeling estimates?
Compare the same written scope, including demolition, trade work, finish selections, allowances and exclusions. Ask how existing conditions, required approvals and changes will be handled. The allowances and draws guide helps you prepare those questions. If you plan to stay in the house, also review the occupied-remodel checklist before work begins.
